FNO Fashion Night OuT
Fashion Night was just great here in the BIG Apple. This is truly the one night when you go out and you feel that the retailer actually appreciates your business designers like Catherine Malendrino gave out complementary cocktails and also had manicures after on the Polo Ralph Lauren and Top Ten Model Management Yacht Fashion Cruise. Proceeds from the event went to the GoodWill. We ate bite size hors d'oeuvres and cosmopolitans.
Following were two more fashion show by emerging accessory and women's apparel. A quick stop at the after party and back on my ride home along the FDR bridge. Overall A great night people always look or attempt to look their best on fashion night out so... Great night

Africa Fashion Week New York is coming up and the SNOB EFFECT team will be front and center. This event that will include runway shows, vendor exhibition,and industry networking events with the sole purpose of raising awareness of the African Fashion/Entertainment professionals in New York and Tri -State area.
International designers such as Korto Momolu (from Season 5 of Project Runway) who merges African culture with today's modern women will be one of the headliners of the show included are Korto's purse and jewelry line. Brilliantly playing on colours, textures, and bold ethnic prints it is evident that Korto experience on Project Runway has progressed her talents as a designer and we cant wait to see what's in store.
We are also thrilled to see Designer Jo Black Craze who has a preppy, school boy kind of appeal features of cashmere cardigans, green velvet slippers, and tailored fit blazers. In addition Evening and Couture designer Saint Wobil will be showcasing his collection. Stay Tuned for our reports on this years Africa Fashion Week NY.

Darryl Jagga Unzipped 43.46 Barcelona Collection
International South African ready to wear designer Darryl Jagga dedicates his 2011 Barcelona collection to the everyday contemporary sophisticated woman. Celebrating a mix of both his quintessential style combining both art and architecture with the everyday functionality of woman. He has created a collection that exudes both elegance, opulence, with a touch of femininity. Rich fabrics, complementary colors, ruffles, structural shapes and bold zippers illuminate throughout the collection. The marriage of all elements is what makes him so avant-garde. I am excited to see whats in store for July 16, 2011 at Africa Fashion Week New York where Jagga will display his most recent works.
H&M DOES IT AGAIN...

H&M has officially announced that there next collaboration this Autumn 2011 will be with renowned designer Versace. Donatella will be veering back to reinvent some Iconic classic pieces dating back to 1978 but at a much more affordable range for H&M consumer base.
But don't run in there hoping to find your usual H&M price point, though prices haven't been released yet; Its still Versace and knowing her she will not skimp much on fabric quality, and construction.
The collection will begin release both in store and online November 17 Consisting of both looks for men and women, an accessory line including jewelry and shoes and even a small home ware collection. The anticipation is to exciting for words.
Envision studding, bright colors, leather, gold, floral patterns, structural pieces, bold prints. And the Embodiment of glamour, opulence, over the top, rock star!
